  7. An Invitation to Write for My Blog | Michael Hyatt

This post contains my guest posting guidelines.

From this I get the following criteria.

Well Written, Relevant, Useful, Unique

I may come back and expand on this but I’m sure you get the idea.

We’re looking for people to take a view, to have an opinion.

We want you to have a voice and be positive.

There’s no value in adding to the noise unless you dig deep, get personal and share something of value.

Make sure your submission is proof-read with proper attribution.

We also want people to use Listly in their post in creative ways. We think you’ll find it to be fun.

Our course you can then re-use the list by embedding it in a post in your blog too.

We’re looking to see how people ask the community to contribute.

That seems like a cool ways to let you contribute and for us to learn in the process too.

We want to hear about your experiences too.

Sound like fun?

Content Requirements

  • You have to include a Listly list. There are many ways to do this.
  • Ideally your list should focus on Creation, Curation or Listening. I’ve linked to a post that show examples of each of these three approaches.
  • Your post should be delivered fully formatting with links and images
  • Your featured image for the post should be 640 x 480 pixels
  • You need to provide a link for the image you use, along with any credits
  • Include the author byline at the bottom of your post

Feel free to submit an idea before you submit a whole post.
